Seville Attractions

Situated on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, Seville has a rich Moorish heritage, and used to be a prosperous port that carried out trade with the Americas.

The streets and squares in the historic quarter of the capital of Andalusia are lively and busy. They treasure many constructions that have the World Heritage designation, and many districts are full of traditional culture, like Triana and La Macarena.
Museums and art centres, Aquopolis Water Park, Isla de Magica Theme Park cinemas, theatres, clubs, bull fights and traditional flamenco shows are some of the many leisure options that a great city like Seville holds. Without forgetting, of course, the numerous terraces, inns and bars where visitors can practise one of the most deeply-rooted and tasty traditions in the city: "Going out for tapas".

Seville is probably THE best place to visit for an authentic cultural experience, combining the 4th largest city in Spain and its busy life today, with a heritage and past that is incredibly deep and rich, that you see and feel as you walk the streets of the largest medieval city in Europe. But please, if you come, don't make the mistake that many do, and only come here for one day. Most people think that Seville is just the Cathedral, Alcázar, Plaza España plus a quick walk around Santa Cruz, and believe that with all these so close, a day will do it. There are many secrets to discover, and you won't leave here understanding what Seville is about unless you give yourself a little bit longer.
