The beautiful Victorian architecture of this fine old building is complemented by high tech displays allowing all round viewing, including a walk-through underwater tunnel.
This year we invite you to take a journey into the oceans depths in a brand new Submarine Adventure where you will travel along the seabed and meet some creatures of the deep. Beware…some of them may not be so happy to see you though. Will you survive…we’ll decide!

Brighton SEA LIFE Centre is the most successful marine life aquarium on the South Coast…and without doubt the most spectacular.
Housed in an elegant 150-year-old seafront building, the Centre combines ornate Victorian architecture with stunning hi-tech’ displays housing literally thousands of native sea creatures.
Displays of all shapes and sizes invite visitors to enjoy close encounters with everything from shrimps and starfish to rays, conger eels, catfish, octopus and sharks.
A gigantic walkthrough ocean display re-creates a Tropical Reef environment similar to the crystal clear reefs of the Maldive islands in the Indian Ocean.
This spectacular marine habitat is patrolled by sea turtles Jersey the loggerhead, and Lulu the green turtle…as well as around 1,500 other colourful creatures.
More than 20 other displays guarantee a memorable voyage of exploration and discovery for visitors of all ages, with regular talks and feeding demonstrations providing an even deeper insight into the marvels of the marine world.
