Aquopolis Water Park
Great weather, fantastic water slides and reasonably priced menus you can buy from the cafes & restuarants make this a great family day out. There is, literally, something for everyone and the dolphin show will be sure to amaze both young and old alike.

Professional photographers are on hand and capture some great photographs that are displayed near the exit. You are not under any obligation to buy the photographs but the quality is so good you may find it hard to refuse!
Some of the attractions provide the rings but you may want to hire your own for there is so much to do you will be amazed at how many times you use it. From the top of the attractions you will be able to see for miles and if you wish to leave the park to perhaps picnic on the beach, which is just across the road from the park , you can get a pass out. This truly is a wonderful holiday experience!

Cataventure Catamaran Cruise - 3 hour cruise
Catamaran Cruises sail out from Cambrils harbour twice a day and offer the opportunity to see the coastlines and beautiful beaches of the Costa Darauda whilst out at sea. Meet new friends &enjoy the sights whilst relaxing & soaking up the sun and having fun.

The best bit is when the sailing stops and the fun begins. Watch as the men jump in the water to the cries of ‘Tsunami’ as the waves splash anyone near to them. This is when great friendships can be struck up as the children and the adults splash about in the sea. If you want to stay on board this is the perfect opportunity to sunbathe but make sure you have plenty of suncream as the sun can be deceiving, particularly with the sea breeze! Take your camera and a towel and have the time of your life!

Barcelona Zoo

You will find a monkey house, a terranium with pythons, crocodiles, Alligators, toads, tortoises, boa constrictor and lizards of all different types. In the land of dragons you will find Komodo Dragons and Java Sparrows. There is so much to see you really should take your camera.
For the children there is a children’s zoo & farm cram packed with lots of animals they will be delighted to see.

The zoo has an aquarium with bottlenose dolphins, sea lions, penguins and even a killer whale. Every day there is a dolphin show at 11:30, 13:30 & 16:30 and this is included in the entry price and great fun for young and old alike.

There is a train to take you round the zoo or you can hire electric cars. Pony rides are also available. There are plenty of picnic areas both in and out of the sun and restuarant, cafeteria and shops

The zoo is still known for the famous Snowflake, the albino gorilla who sadly died in 2003 after living at the zoo for 30 years and now some of Snowflakes descendants are still there today. There is a large exhibit dedicated to Snowflake with videos and useful information.

Popular with visitors are the Iberian Wolves, the Eurasian Otters, the Red Panda, Catalan donkeys and of course the famous White Rhino.

So if you want to see close up, leopards, elephants, bear, gorillas, orang-utans and giant ant-eaters, amongst many, many more then the Zoo would be a good place to visit. Parrot Square is always popular as is the aviary where a great selection of beautiful birds can be seen. The zoo is easy to find in Ciutadella Park and even easier to visit and a good way to spend a family day out. Why not see for yourself!

Barcelona Zoo is one of the top 10 attractions in Barcelona and offers a great day out for all of the family. It is situated in the greenest area in Barcelona, the beautiful Ciutadella Park.
