Unleash the ‘Power of the Towers’ this year as you share joy, laughter and thrills with family and friends at Britain’s Greatest Escape!  From rushing through the burning Wicker Man to laughing and screaming your way through the new Alton Towers Dungeon* or simply witnessing a small child’s delight as they disco dance with Ubercorn in CBeebies Land, there really is something for everyone to enjoy at Alton Towers Resort!  

This year, share even more fun and thrills as the Resort launches some amazing new attractions. Dare you add a visit to the new Alton Towers Dungeon where you can laugh and scream as you journey through Staffordshire’s darkest history.  And if that’s not scary enough, enjoy the UK’s latest wooden rollercoaster experience on Wicker Man, feel G-forces greater than a space shuttle on Nemesis, brave Oblivion’s iconic vertical drop, ride The Smiler’s 14 loops or satisfy your need for speed on Rita – hold on tight! 

For those with little ones in tow, head over to CBeebies Land where the brand new ‘Peter RabbitTM Hippity Hop’ ride, featuring the mischievous bunny Peter Rabbit and his friends Benjamin and Lily,  will join the much-loved characters and themed attractions.  Families can also join Tinky-Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po in a musical extravaganza, as they perform their new show, the ‘Teletubbies Big Band Live Show’!

Getting to Alton Towers Resort by car

  • Alton Towers Resort is between M1 and the M6. If you’re driving to any of our Resort’s attractions; including the accommodation, the Waterpark or Spa, then please use the postcode ST10 4DB. Please follow the signs for the last bit of your journey, as your Sat Nav will attempt to take you down a local farm track; especially if you’re coming down the B5417. Please drive with care when you’re in the area, as there are many walkers, cyclists and horse riders, and the roads can be very thin in places.

 

Getting To Alton Towers Resort by public transport

  • Public transport is available to Alton Towers Resort from popular Train Station destinations. The three closest train stations are Stoke-on-Trent, Uttoxeter and Derby.

 

Parking at Alton Towers  Resort

  • Tickets can be purchased from Ticket Sales & Collection at the main Theme Park entrance or from the ticket machines located on Towers Street
