The aim of the cultural expeditions of Fundació Arqueológica Clos is to provide in depth knowledge of the Ancient World. People who wish to find the right answers to some of the mysteries surrounding events that took place in ancient times will be able to find the answers that they are looking for.
If you are interested in Ancient History and Art, or if you are already taking part in our courses, these cultural expeditions will offer you the chance to learn, in situ, more about the legacy of very exciting civilizations, including the Egyptian, Greek, Inca, Persian, Sumerian, Hebrew, Arab, Ethiopian and Indian amongst others.

The library of Clos Archaeological Foundation has over 10,000 documents and an extensive bibliographic / information data base on various formats (video & images) totally necessary for the study of Egypt.
The Foundation makes use of these documents in its publications, for the course it runs and also for a growing number of editors who specialize in Egypt.
In the presentation you will find two indispensable tools for studying and understanding ancient Egypt.
First, a map , where you will find the main geographical areas identified and the excavations conducted by the Clos Archaeological Foundation.
Moreover, a timeline that reviews the major historical events of type territorial, political, economic, social and cultural ancient Egypt from the predynastic to Roman times. A wonderful way of learning about and understanding the intriguing Egyptian history with some beautiful artefacts within the collections.
