THINGS TO DO IN CHICAGO

Chicago, the Windy City, is the third largest city in the USA and named America’s best bike city in 2016. Its miles of bike lanes and extensive public transport system combined with its many parks and gardens make this an easy city to get around. Our US based team have sourced some amazing deals for our clients to benefit from.

HISTORICAL CHICAGO

Chicago became incorporated as a city in 1837 and its location near a portage between the Mississippi River and the Great Lakes saw its rapid growth. Its skyscraper skyline also hides some historical buildings such as that housing the Museum of Science and Industry, the only building from the 1893 World’s Fair remaining today. Unfortunately due to the Great Chicago Fire of 1871 there are few original remaining buildings in the city.

TOUR AND EXPLORE

There are so many ways in which to explore Chicago today. Our range of Bus Tours, Helicopter Tours and even Segway and Bike tours allows visitors to discover the nuances of the city. If the water is where you are most at home we can even offer a variety of cruises on Lake Michigan.

VIEWING PLATFORMS

For those with a head for heights we can offer birds eye views of the city of Chicago from the 360 Chicago Observation Deck or Skydeck Chicago Willis Tower. An easy way to work out where everything is located in the city!

BEST CHICAGO ATTRACTIONS

There is something for everyone in Chicago.  For the children try Shedd Aquarium, Lincoln Park Zoo or the Adler Planetarium. The Art enthusiasts will enjoy the Art Institute of Chicago or the Museum of Contemporary Art. And for those looking for historical interest try the Chicago History Museum, the American Writers Museum or for something a little different the Field Museum.

Many of these attractions can be visited using our range of passes such as the Go Chicago Card and Chicago Explorer Pass to  name but two in our inventory.

Of course some of the most beautiful attractions are the multitude of Parks and gardens throughout the city such as Lincoln Park, Millennium Park and Jackson Park. Also take in the stunning Lake Michigan and the 26 miles of beaches with lifeguard cover from Memorial Day till Labor Day.
