Osborne House is a former royal residence on the Isle of Wight. Built for Queen Victoria, and designed by Prince Albert, this summer home acted as a rural restreat for the Royal couple. An earlier, smaller home on this site was demolished to make way for this new and far larger house, though the original entrance porch survives and now leads to the walled garden.
