The Wall Museum - East Side Gallery Berlin

365Tickets

The Wall Museum at Berlin's East Side Gallery is dedicated to the fall of the Berlin Wall. The experience is engaging, stirring and emotional!

“Nobody intends to build a wall”, Walter Ulbricht, East Germany's communist leader said on 15th June 1961. Just two months later, the Berlin Wall stood, separating so many people, imprisoning them and leading to so many fatalities.

Next to the East Side Gallery, visitors will find the longest remaining section of the Berlin Wall. In it's former death strip of no man's land, The Wall Museum covers the history of 1945 - 1990 in 13 themed rooms. The exhibition is brought to life using over 100 screens with original film footage, projectors and interactive displays

The Wall Museum is a must for anyone who wants to understand one of the most dramatic events in German History.
